Tramsschapp CAL
Salon du CAL
On more than 1,000 sqm, the annual exhibition of the Artistic Circle of Luxembourg (founded in 1893) provides a good overview of the country’s artistic scene. The Salon du CAL presents a selection of established and emerging artists, represented by three works each. All the works on display are for sale.
The Salon takes place in the premises of the former Tramsschapp, at walking distance from Halle Victor Hugo. The layout of the Salon is designed to highlight the quality and diversity of Luxembourg’s art scene. The Tramsschapp also features a public car park to which visitors of the Salon will have access.
Participants are selected by an international jury composed of experts in the fields of visual, graphic and applied arts. As part of the 2019 Salon, the CAL will award the Prix Grand-Duc Adolphe to the best work by one of its members.
