SALTIEL-KMG

  • Aix-en-Provence , Paris
  • Booth C11

Founded in 1992 in the village of Le Castellet, by Victor Fitoussi, the Saltiel Gallery takes its name from a relative of the gallery owner who introduced him to the history of art and the creative gesture. The gallery owner first specialises in Modern Art and presents artists such as Venard, Tobiasse, Combas, Appel, Buffet and Veličković.

In 2010, when the gallery opened in the heart of Aix-en-Provence, the gallery owner was joined by Maxime and Marie Fitoussi. From Kriki to Erró and Adami to Combas, it is also at this moment that contemporary and Pop artists are invited into the artistic project of the Saltiel gallery. Quickly, the gallery’s catalogue became one of the most exciting collections in the south-east of France. The Saltiel gallery focuses on the promotion of movements such as Free Figuration and Narrative Figuration.

In May 2021, the gallery inaugurated a new Parisian space on rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré in collaboration with art dealer Kolo Traoré, with whom the gallery has been collaborating for several years. The Saltiel-KMG Gallery is the place where major figures of Modern Art and Lyrical Abstraction coexist without complex as representatives of Free and Narrative Figuration, Pressionism...

With permanent works by Aboudia, Alechinsky, Arman, Blo, Calder, César, Combas, Cuenot, Niki De Saint Phalle, Errò, Gris1, Haring, Hiquily, Jaoui, Kan, Monory, Pincemin, Segui, Ugo Li, Velicković..., Gallery owners like to co-exist at the same time big names and emerging talents.
