Pierre Granoux established LAGE EGAL (ger. "Location no matter") in 2012 in Berlin as an artist-run space, a dynamic and lively space open to progressive practices, experimental exhibition formats and critical discourse. The focus is on curatorial projects as a creative act to playfully subvert current mechanisms of art presentation and mediation.
LAGE EGAL is also distinguished by its thematic discussions with artists' books and editions - and by extension by the questioning of the original, the copy, the reproduction or the serial work.
