With an ambitious and stimulating multidisciplinary approach, the Felix Frachon Gallery promotes young contemporary art scenes from so-called “emerging” countries through a unique seasoned programme devoted to South Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Latin America.
Opened in 2016 in a former dyeing factory, the gallery at 5 Rue Saint-Georges in Brussels exhibits individually and regularly artists represented by the gallery. The house, which combines the codes of the “white cube” with warm curves typical of Belgian houses, welcomed a little sister in 2017.
The gallery indeed opens up a new space at number 26 on the same street. This additional gallery allows the diversification of the programme with art residences, screenings, conferences, an open library, editions, and special projects, by developing the dialogue between cultures and practices.
