Artist Residency, How-to Guide?
"If artist residencies did not exist, the evolution of creation would be more laborious, and there may be projects that will never happen, which could otherwise occur."

The principle of current art fairs is to have a short temporality to concentrate energies, provoke encounters, and develop a more festive atmosphere, in contrast to the long-term programming of exhibitions in museums or other similar institutions. While the two do not function in the same way, their approaches are complementary and contribute to the cultural identity and reputation of a city, regardless of its scale. This is well understood in Luxembourg, allowing the founder of Luxembourg Art Week, Alex Reding, to consider the fair as "a platform to get in touch with the institutional network of the city and the country".
