LEAP - the Luxembourg Encouragement for Artists Prize aims to help artists who demonstrate an innovative approach to contemporary creation and to support the development of their careers.

Created in 2016, the prize is awarded every two years after deliberation by an international selection committee. Following the call for applications and the preselection process, four candidates are selected for a group exhibition in the Galerie des Rotondes.

In 2016, the prize was awarded to Sophie Jung, in 2018 to Laurianne Bixhain. In 2020, Hisae Ikenaga received the prize.

With LEAP, the Rotondes (already committed through their Triennial to young creation in the Greater Region) offer contemporary artists, linked to the Grand Duchy, a springboard towards professionalisation and greater visibility.
