Versant Sud is a hybrid structure between that sits between an artist's residence and an art gallery. The cultural operator supports the emerging art scene of southern latitudes through artistic residency and the artist’s connection to the art market.

Versant Sud has launched Passages, an artistic residency program that helps reveal talent, allows the professionalization of artists and promotes meetings with buyers. Versant Sud also holds conferences in art history in Marseille.
