Aperto (1997- 2019) produces contemporary art exhibitions, develops artistic events in partnership, promotes young creation in the City of Montpellier and the Occitanie / Midi Pyrénées Region.
Its vocation is to constitute itself as a place of research and production for artists and to be an art space open to all audiences. The programming, set up a few years ago, diversifies the proposals. The bet to keep a widely open programming and to boost its policy of circulation of projects, artists and works leads the structure to intensify part of its action towards national and international exchanges. It is by favouring exchanges between structures and collectives that the association contributes to making the regional artistic scene better known.
