VI, VII is a fjord-side gallery of contemporary art based in central Oslo. Since opening, the gallery has exhibited the work of over fifty artists. Founded in 2012 by Esperanza Rosales, an artist and writer turned gallerist from New York, the gallery participates regularly at international art fairs, and it represents artists based in cities as far afield as Riga, Los Angeles and New York.

The program concentrates on introducing the work of young and emerging international positions, but also shines a light on lesser known artists and historical positions.

The gallery is located just steps from Oslo’s waterfront, near the famed, Snøhetta-designed Opera House and Norway’s new Munch Museum in an area of the city designed by Danish architects Vannkunsten.
