For the duration of POSITIONS and TAKE OFF, the Public Programmes Department of Casino Luxembourg will be hosting daily children's workshops around the work Theater of Disorder by Martin Feipel & Jean Bechameil. The workshops will be open to children from 5 to 12 years old. No reservation required. Participation on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Collecting for the public?

Conference in French

Discussion on institutional collecting policies and their role in the mediation of contemporary art.

Thierry Raspail has been the director of the Musée d'art contemporain in Lyon since its foundation in 1984. In 1991 he founded the Biennale de Lyon, where he has since held the position of artistic director.

Caroline Bourgeois has long held the position of artistic director of Le Plateau-Frac Île de France. She is currently an independent curator and advisor to François Pinault in charge of his video collection.

New location for CAL in 2017

For LUXEMBOURG ART WEEK 2017 the annual exhibition of the Cercle Artistique de Luxembourg (CAL) will be on display at Tramsschapp. This repurposed tramway depot in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg is just a short walk away from the event's main venue, Victor Hugo Hall.
