silicone, acrylic, CLC print, foam, wood Hein Spellmann's works combine photography with sculpture. His pillow-like objects display details of urban architecture. His sculptural "mobile homes" show both the individuality of dwellings as well as characteristics of urban living. The grid-like pattern of balconies is reminiscent of the repetition of modular elements used in architecture.
