Since 2025, the Cité de l’Image and the National Audiovisual Center (CNA) have been collaborating on the creation of a new festival dedicated to photography in order to strengthen Clervaux’s role as a major hub for visual culture. This project aims to highlight the Cité de l’Image and the CNA, while reinterpreting the international legacy of the exhibition *The Family of Man* from a contemporary perspective.
The festival is intended to be a platform for artistic exchange and contemporary visual culture, where photography is viewed as art, a documentary tool, and a means of social expression. Thanks to its historical connection to *The Family of Man*, Clervaux offers an ideal setting for new cultural initiatives. The goal is to establish it as a permanent central hub for photography in Luxembourg and beyond.
