Galerie Escobar

Galerie Diego Escobar is a contemporary art gallery founded in Marseille in 2016 by Diego Escobar. Before establishing the gallery, he spent eight years in the contemporary art departments of leading auction houses such as Tajan and Sotheby's, gaining strong expertise in the art market.

The gallery is dedicated to supporting emerging and mid-career artists on the international scene, with a coherent and demanding program focused on painting. Its curatorial line explores materiality, perception, and the dialogue between abstraction and figuration.

Through solo and group exhibitions, as well as participation in international art fairs, the gallery builds long-term collaborations with its artists while developing close relationships with collectors and institutions. Positioned between the primary and secondary markets, Galerie Diego Escobar actively supports the visibility and growth of its artists across Europe and beyond.
