Galerie Marie Berthollet

Founded in Savoie, the Galerie Marie Berthollet champions vibrant, sensitive, and demanding contemporary French painting. Initially operating on the move, it takes over unexpected venues—such as businesses, wineries, and private mansions—to stage temporary exhibitions, ahead of the opening of its own gallery space in 2026.

The gallery supports living artists, selected for the sincerity of their artistic approach and the power of their creative worlds. While painting remains at the heart of its program, drawing and printmaking also have a place there.

Art education plays an essential role: making the works accessible, guiding viewers’ perspectives, and advising both seasoned collectors and first-time buyers.

Having gained her training through direct contact with artists’ studios, Marie Berthollet is building a gallery rooted in its local community, with the ambition of promoting contemporary art at the foot of the Alps.
