ARTBASE is a gallery for contemporary painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, photography, installation and performance art.

It was founded in 2017 by Tanja Bergmann in Bad Homburg/ Frankfurt am Main.

In 2019 ARTBASE moved to Wiesbaden into an Art Deco building with a large and high former ballroom.

The space allows up to three solo exhibitions to take place in parallel.

Since its founding, the gallery has strived to bring internationally established, emerging and promising new artists into dialogue.

An important curatorial approach for us is to juxtapose different positions, perspectives, techniques, and aesthetics.

Not only for the viewers but also for the artists themselves, unifying approaches beyond different cultural imprints become visible, which has already inspired them to join projects across national borders.
