Quimera functions as a platform for the development of curatorial, exhibition, educational, and editorial projects. It represents an intermediate generation of contemporary artists and fosters interdisciplinary dialogue by providing space for series, projects, artists, and curators in its venue.
It recently launched its own publishing label, Q·Editora, with bilingual publications accompanying exhibitions and added an alternative exhibition space, Qubo, for site-specific proposals.
Since its inception, the gallery has opened up new markets and introduced Argentine artists to unexplored destinations. Over the years, it has successfully placed several of its artists in important international collections. The gallery operates in a collaborative way and actively works for the development of the local scene.
