Clémence Boisanté

Luxembourg Art Week is delighted to welcome Clémence Boisanté, director at Ceysson & Bénétière, joining the selection committee for its 2026 edition. Bringing together gallerists, collectors and art professionals from Luxembourg and abroad, the Selection Committee reflects a diversity of artistic perspectives and sensibilities. They are invited for their deep knowledge of the art market and their close connection to the Luxembourg art scene, as well as for the international outlook they bring to the fair.

As a child, Clémence Boisanté spent her holidays visiting museums with her grandmother. Those moments of discovery and shared curiosity were her first lessons in looking at art and deeply shaped her attachment to it.

Early on, she trained as a gallerist under Hélène Trintignan while pursuing studies in law and political science. Working in the gallery, founded in 1974, allowed her to engage with four generations of painters and sculptors, from Henri Goetz and Christine Boumeester to Robert Combas and Vincent Corpet. This experience structured her vision of art and shaped the way she supports and works alongside artists.

In 2005, she founded her own gallery in Montpellier, where for nearly fifteen years she developed a committed programme attentive to the long-term development of artistic careers. During this time, she collaborated with institutions and local authorities in the south of France and developed a particular interest in the dialogue between art and architecture, notably through numerous private 1% artistique projects integrating artworks into living spaces and architectural contexts.

She later directed an organisation dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of contemporary art, leading projects between Sète, Montpellier, and Paris, always driven by the desire to support artists and to create encounters between art and its audiences.

Now based in Luxembourg, where she grew up, she brings this experience to Ceysson & Bénétière, continuing to support artists and circulate their works with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to sharing the richness of contemporary creation with collectors and art lovers.
