Esther Stocker (born 1974, Italy) is a prominent figure in the world of geometric abstract art. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, she continued her education at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, and then at the Art Center College in Pasadena, California.
She works with geometric structures and grids based on repetitive modules, creating spatial experiments. Intertwinings, interconnections, and permeations are used in various ways, like a metaphorical logo that builds an environment extending from the canvas to the three-dimensional world. Esther Stocker creates paradoxes, distortions, and ambiguous art, exploring essential concepts such as modularity, space, order, and repetition.
