Monika Sosnowska à la Moderne Galerie - Saarbrücken
Starting March 15, 2025, internationally renowned sculptor Monika Sosnowska (1972) will occupy the central atrium of the Moderne Galerie’s new extension with several monumental sculptures made of lacquered steel. Sosnowska’s architectural paraphrases—both massive and poetic, often derived from distorted building elements—raise questions about history, memory, and identity. In the 14-meter-high domed hall, hanging sculptures and floor installations are combined into a striking and dynamic ensemble.
