On Friday 20 November, Casino Display and Casino Luxembourg join forces to present an evening of performances, installations, encounters and artistic experiments unfolding between the two venues.
From 17:00 to 01:00, the programme invites visitors to move between different practices, situations and rhythms. At Casino Display, Live Signal opens the evening with two performances and a video installation. From 9 p.m., the momentum continues at Casino Luxembourg, at the heart of the evolving exhibition The Hearth Room by Austrian artists Christoph Meier & Ute Müller.
For Luxembourg Art Week, The Hearth Room becomes the setting and the place where everything comes together. In this space open to encounter and improvisation, the artists, joined by Miriam Hansen and Andreas Olavssønn Rongen, pursue their creative process and experimentation.
With no set route or linear programme, artworks, conversations, presences and artistic contributions gradually give shape to a collective situation. The Live Hearth Signal Room is built in the moment, through encounters and the energies brought together.
The event is supported by Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL), the event partner, with an additional contribution from Lodyss.
