LAGE EGAL (= location doesn’t matter) was founded by Pierre Granoux in 2019, as the culmination of years of underground practice and diverse curatorial experimentation. Operating nomadic spaces in Berlin and Brussels (from 2024), this artist—run gallery presents a regular program of meticulously conceived exhibitions that simultaneously challenge art world norms and maintain democratic accessibility.

Specializing in curated duos and small group exhibitions, LAGE EGAL activates intentionally selected spaces to generate fresh discourse around contemporary practice. Its programming creates thoughtful intergenerational dialogues, deliberately juxtaposing artists from varied backgrounds to produce new artistic resonances.
