Conference organised by LAFA - Luxembourg Association for Art Galleries and Practitioners on the occasion of Luxembourg Art Week

Conference to be held in english

The themes of this mini-conference shall include the following topics:

  • What are the perspectives of the European art market post-Covid? Will London maintain its dominant position post-Brexit? What will be the future role of other European art capitals?
  • Will fractional ownership of artworks get more relevant? What about tokenisation of artworks, NFTs and what is the latest on art and blockchain?
  • What is the future of art fairs?

Moderation:

Professor Dr. Roman Kräussl, Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance, Department of Finance, University of Luxembourg, who published numerous research studies in leading business and finance magazines and papers on Art & Finance related topics

Panelists:

Stefan Kobel, free-lance journalist covering the Art Market. Contributing editor to a.o. Handelsblatt and Monopol as well as publisher of the “Kobels Kunstwoche”, a weekly on-line art market review

Aude Lemogne, Managing Director, LINK Management, Art Wealth Management & Art Lending, an art advisory firm based in the Luxembourg freeport

Adriano Picinati di Torcello, Global Art & Finance Coordinator, Deloitte, contributing publisher of the bi-annual Art&Finance report

Simon Hornby, SVP & General Manager, Crozier Europe, a leading global art logistics firm.

Other information:

Participants to the conference will be given free entry passes to the Preview of LUXEMBOURG ART WEEK, which will take place on the Glacis on November 11 from 7:30 to 10:00 pm.
