Founded in 1996 by the art historian Joerk Rothamel, the gallery runs spaces in Erfurt and since 2005 in Frankfurt am Main. It represents established positions as well as aspiring artists. The gallery published numerous catalogs, works regularly with museums and exhibits at various art fairs. In the course of the gallery's history, the gallery participated at 42 art fairs - in Basel, Berlin, Bologna, Brussels, Dresden, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, Cologne, London, Luxembourg, Lyon, Vilnius, Vienna and Zurich.
