Galerie Catherine Putman specializes in works on paper by contemporary artists: drawings, photographs and prints.
Located on the edge of the Marais district, in the Centre Pompidou area, the gallery is situated on the first floor, in a space with an intimate atmosphere suited to the presentation of works on paper.
Directed for over ten years by Éléonore Chatin, the gallery works regularly with its historic artists: Geneviève Asse, Pierre Buraglio, Georg Baselitz, Jean Messagier, Georges Noël, Sophie Ristelhueber, Georges Rousse, Agathe May and Bernard Moninot.
It has also opened up to new collaborations with Keita Mori, Carmen Perrin, Frédéric Poincelet, Frédéric Malette and Éloïse Van der Heyden.
The gallery has also maintained its activity as an art publisher, initiated by Jacques and Catherine Putman in the 1970s. Exhibitions, mostly monographic, feature both single works and multiples. Since the gallery opened in 2005, over 70 exhibitions by French and international artists have been held here.
