As Cosima Von Bonin’s work is deeply rooted in popular culture and cinematography, she and her friends curated a screening programme composed of emblematic movies that relate to her pieces, in literal and metaphorical ways. A short film and a feature film will be offered for each session, with various movies from directors such as Painlevé, Pasolini or João Pedro Rodrigues.
Join for a Sunday movie afternoon in Mudam’s auditorium, to enjoy a screening together with visiting our Song for gay dogs exhibition!

Feature film: Will-o'-the-Wisp (Original title: Fogo-Fátuo) (2022), by João Pedro Rodrigues
On his deathbed, his royal highness Alfredo, a king without a crown, is taken back to distant, youthful memories and the time he dreamt of becoming a fireman. An encounter with instructor Afonso from the fire brigade opens a new chapter in the life of the two young men, devoted to love and desire…
