In the captivating world of contemporary art, counterfeiting represents a major challenge for creators, collectors, galleries, museums, and all other players in the art market. As the value of artworks can reach astronomical heights, the risk of counterfeiting intensifies, intersecting with new technologies and the unique economic dynamics of the global market. The issue of authenticity becomes paramount, both for the preservation of artistic heritage and the financial security of investors.

In the digital age and with the rise of new technologies, art counterfeiting has evolved. Forgers have adapted to innovations, exploiting sophisticated techniques that make it more difficult to distinguish between original and copy. Moreover, the development of online sales platforms and the digitalization of transactions have created more opportunities for counterfeiters to infiltrate the market.

This is why we are bringing together experts from various fields – law, insurance, technology, and intellectual property – to provide a comprehensive, multidimensional analysis of the current challenges of counterfeiting. These specialists will share their perspectives to propose practical and tailored solutions to contemporary challenges.
