Founded in 2006 by François Ceysson and Loïc Bénétière, the Ceysson & Bénétière gallery is now a major player on the international contemporary art scene. With locations in Paris, Lyon, Saint-Étienne, Luxembourg, Geneva, New York, and Tokyo, the gallery has developed an ambitious program combining exhibitions, curatorial projects, publications, and participation in major contemporary art fairs.
Renowned for its longstanding commitment to the Supports/Surfaces movement, the gallery represents major artists such as Claude Viallat, Noël Dolla, and Louis Cane. True to this legacy, it has gradually expanded its program to include artists from different generations and artistic sensibilities, fostering a dialogue between historical figures and contemporary practices.
Driven by high standards, Ceysson & Bénétière supports the international development of its artists in close collaboration with institutions, collectors, and curators.
