Launched in January 2022, no/mad utopia offers tailor-made support to artists by further exposing them to exhibitions and art fairs.

Showcasing a range of contemporary creations hailing from the MENA, no/mad utopia provides a reflective stage-beyond-borders on which regional aspirations are put in dialogue with issues of global scale.

For Luxembourg Art Week, no/mad utopia aims to explore vulnerability, memory, place, and transformation.

This presentation gathers artists who work with memory, place, and fragile remnants of lived experience. Through scent, images, materials, and collaborative gestures, they rebuild what endures beyond loss.

Petra Serhal maps Palestinian landscapes through scent; Ieva Saudargaite Douaihi layers photographs into hybrid memory-objects; Johanne Allard revisits Catholic and colonial histories through embroidered confessionals; White Paper creates collaborative Exquisite Corpse drawings; Dalia Baassiri transforms Beirut’s fragments into textured works of renewal.

Together, they offer new ways to sense and reimagine the traces that shape us.

The gallery will also present Storm and You are Free: Antarah in Black On White, the artist book of the Lebanese artist Fatima El Hajj, published by the Lebanese based publishing house Dongola Limited Editions.
