Since 1999, Galerie Maria Lund (Paris, le Marais) has supported contemporary art that combines conceptual depth and visual relevance; strong works, which suggest a meaning more than they impose it, which in a contemporary form raise existential questions. The practices of the twenty-four artists represented cover a wide variety of media: installation, sculpture, painting, drawing, photo, performance, video, textiles and poetry. In addition to the organisation of exhibitions in its premises and participation in various fairs, the gallery carries out work of representation vis-à-vis institutions and private actors, accompanies orders, publishes works and hosts events around other artistic disciplines (theater, music, literature). The promotion of the artists represented also includes the publication of catalogs and participation in a selection of fairs in France and abroad. The GALERIE MARIA LUND is a member of the French galleries’ association, CPGA (Comité Professionnel des Galeries d’Art) since 2001 – and of the PGMAP – paris gallery map.

In 2020-2021, Maria Lund was one of the representatives for the Committee within the CNAP. She served from 2007 to 2020 on the board of directors of La Maison du Danemark in Paris and since 2015 she has chaired the Arts Commission of the Charles Oulmont Foundation.
